Privacy Policy for RinPurge

This Privacy Policy applies to RinPurge, an Android storage cleaning and device optimization application. This policy fully complies with the Google Play Developer Distribution Agreement and global privacy regulations. By installing and using this application, you acknowledge and agree to all terms stated in this policy.

Google Play Developer Distribution Agreement (Section 4.8)

You agree that if You make Your Products available through Google Play, You will protect the privacy and legal rights of users. If the users provide You with, or Your Product accesses or uses, personal information, You agree to make the users aware that the information will be available to Your Product, and You agree to provide legally adequate privacy notice and protection for those users. Further, Your Product may only use that information for the limited purposes for which the user has given You permission to do so.

RinPurge strictly complies with the above provisions. All permission access and file processing behaviors are limited to core cleaning functions authorized by users.

1. Required Permissions and Functional Purpose

RinPurge requests necessary system permissions exclusively to implement core storage cleaning and device optimization features. All file scanning, analysis and cleaning operations are processed locally on user devices. No user private files or personal content will be uploaded or transmitted to any remote server.

  1. READ_MEDIA_IMAGES & READ_MEDIA_VIDEO: These permissions are required to scan local image and video files, identify duplicate media, blurry files, unused large media and residual cache generated by third-party applications. The permissions also support file preview before cleaning to prevent accidental deletion of user important media resources.
  2. MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (All Files Access): Standard scoped storage and media-only permissions cannot access hidden system directories, application residual folders, uninstalled junk files, log files, temporary files and invalid files in Download and Document directories. Full file access is essential to complete comprehensive deep cleaning and release device storage space normally.

2. Data Collection and Local Processing Rules

RinPurge adheres strictly to Google’s data minimization principle. We only process data necessary for core functions:

  1. The application does not collect, upload or share any personally identifiable information, including username, phone number, email, contacts, SMS, location and biometric information.
  2. All file scanning and analysis behaviors are completed locally on the device. User private photos, videos, documents and personal files will never be uploaded, cached or stored on any external server.
  3. Only anonymous device information and crash logs may be collected for bug fixing and performance optimization. Such data is completely desensitized and cannot be used to identify individual users.

3. Third-Party Service and Data Isolation

  1. RinPurge will never sell, rent or trade user privacy data and local file resources for commercial purposes.
  2. This application integrates Google AdMob advertising services to support daily operation. All third-party services comply with Google Play privacy policies.
  3. Strict data isolation is implemented. Third-party SDKs cannot access user local files, media resources and private content. No user private data will be shared with advertisers.

4. User Control and Data Rights

  1. Users may revoke all permissions granted to RinPurge at any time through Android system settings.
  2. All cleaning and deletion operations require user manual confirmation. The application will not automatically delete any user files.
  3. Uninstalling the application will immediately terminate all file access permissions and clear temporary runtime data.

5. Minor Privacy Protection

RinPurge is intended for users aged 13 and above. We do not intentionally collect any personal information from minors under 13 years old. If we accidentally obtain minor user data, we will delete relevant information immediately after discovery.

6. Policy Updates

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy to adapt to Google Play policy adjustments and legal requirement changes. Updated content will be published on this page with the latest effective date. Continued use of the application represents acceptance of the updated policy terms.
